KIT Digital Acquires Swedish Mobile TV Firm Kamera

Dubai - KIT digital (formerly ROO Group), a provider of video distribution technology, announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Sweden-based Kamera, a firm that offers delivery of IPTV channels over mobile and online platforms, for $4.2 million in cash.

New York - ROO Group, a provider of online video broadcasting and related services, announced on Tuesday that it will acquire Kamera, a Sweden-based provider of technology that lets partners deliver IPTV channels over mobile and online networks.

Stockholm - Swedish mobile TV provider Kamera announced on Tuesday that it has launched a live streaming mobile TV service with Vodafone Sweden. The Expressen 3G service, a joint venture with a Swedish tabloid, will offer sports and local news from Expressen, and international and entertainment news produced by Kamera.
