Phantom Entertainment to Exhibit Keyboard Accessory at DigitalLife

Seattle - Phantom Entertainment (formerly Infinium Labs) announced on Tuesday that it will exhibit its Phantom Lapboard video game accessory at next week's DigitalLife consumer electronics event in New York. Seattle-based Phantom made no mention of its Phantom Game Service, originally announced in 2002 as a PC-based broadband game service that was displayed as a working prototype in 2004, but never came to market. In August, the company abandoned its original plan for a game console, and said instead it is working on a service that will deliver games digitally over the Internet.

Seattle - Phantom Entertainment, formerly known as Infinium Labs, announced on Thursday that it plans to show prototypes of its Phantom Lapboard video gaming keyboard later this month at the Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany. The company plans to begin shipping the accessory in November. Seattle-based Phantom made no mention of its Phantom Game Service, a PC-based broadband gaming service that it has failed to deliver since first announcing its development in 2002, and later showing a prototype at E3 in 2004.

Infinium Labs Names Manufacturer for Gaming Keyboard

Seattle - Infinium Labs, the developer of a long-delayed, broadband-based PC gaming console, on Wednesday said it has selected a manufacturer for its first product, a gaming keyboard it plans to release in October.
