Kodime Introduces Mobile Music Sales Platform for Indie Labels

Kingston-upon-Thames, England - Mobile software developer Kodime on Wednesday introduced STARtxt Label, a service that lets independent record labels create, market and sell their own mobile music content and digital downloads directly to fans. The service lets labels sell mobile content via both Web and WAP sites, as well as through text message shortcodes included on print advertising, CD inserts and flyers. U.K.-based Kodime said its STARtxt platform is already being used to distribute mobile music content from customers like EMI Publishing and the London Symphony Orchestra. 

U.K. Mobile Media Software Firm Kodime Raises Funds

London - Kodime Ltd., a U.K.-based provider of mobile media software and services to property marketers, the music business and marketing agencies, announced that it has raised a "significant" amount of funding from the Capital Fund. Kodime said it would use the funds to expand its operations and grow sales. Kodime's customers include St James Homes, the London Symphony Orchestra, EMI Music Publishing, Boosey & Hawkes and 118118.com.
