LibreDigital Raises $15 Million for Digital Publishing

Austin, Texas - LibreDigital, a provider of digitization and distribution services for publishers, announced on Wednesday that it has closed a $15 million second round of venture capital financing, led by Triangle Peak Partners and Adams Capital Management.

New York - LibreDigital, a developer of digital publishing technologies, on Tuesday announced the launch of a new "mashups" service, which will allow publishers to provide consumers with custom books made from content compiled from different book titles in publisher portfolios. The company said that publishers including Bloomsbury, HarperCollins and Hachette are using the new eCompile service to enable consumers to create custom orders from books, college textbooks and professional directories.
