Lifetime Posts "Project Runway" Web Clips, Re-launches Sites

New York - Lifetime Networks, which will be the new home to the fashion reality show "Project Runway," announced that it has posted more than 500 broadband clips from past episodes of the show to promote the upcoming fifth season. The company also said it re-launched several of its Web properties, including MothersClick.com, DressUpChallenge.com and Total Beauty Makeover, and launched a new site called Lifetime Moms.

New York - Lifetime Networks, the women's TV network joint venture between Hearst Corporation (NYSE: HTV) and Disney (NYSE: DIS), on Wednesday announced its first-ever digital acquisition with the purchase of ParentsClick Network, a provider of social network creation tools.

Lifetime Plans 15 New Webisode Series, Streaming Channel

New York - Women-focused Lifetime Network on Tuesday announced plans to launch more than 15 original webisode series, as well as a number of online games and new blogs. The initial slate of webisode series include "Hollywood Tails," "Mommy Madness" and "Street Doctors." The company said that its MyLifetime.com site, which claims 2.5 million registered members and is also a top-25 online games site, will launch a new makeover game, Dressupchallenge.com, later this month. A new broadband video channel launching in June will feature full episodes of Lifetime series -- including its recently acquired "Project Runway" -- and full-length Lifetime original movies.

Glam Media, Lifetime Create Co-branded Online Vertical Media Network

New York - Glam Media, a women-focused network of websites, announced that it has partnered with women-focused cable TV channel Lifetime Networks to create a co-branded, vertical network of websites and blogs within the Glam Media publisher network. Lifetime, which is jointly owned by Disney (NYSE: DIS) and Hearst Corporation, and Glam will also syndicate each other's online content. The flagship site of the network, myLifetime.com, will feature areas related to relationships, advocacy, home and crafts, pets, and astrology.
