London - Television producer FremantleMedia announced that it has made a minority equity investment in Ludia, a developer and publisher of interactive casual games.

Montreal - Interactive entertainment developer Ludia said Monday it has signed a deal with FremantleMedia Enterprises, licensor for the "American Idol" TV show, to create online games based on the series. Montreal-based Ludia said its game, set to launch in conjunction with the show's 2009 season, will feature performance, online community and social networking components.

Granada Taps Ludia to Create "Hell's Kitchen" Games

Los Angeles - Ludia, a developer of interactive entertainment, said this week that it has signed a deal with TV producer Granada to create video games based on the TV series, "Hell's Kitchen." Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay is featured in the titles for PC, console and mobile platforms, which are set to launch alongside the premiere of the fourth season of the series in 2008.

Ludia to Develop Video Games Based on "The Price is Right"

Montreal - Casual video game developer and publisher Ludia announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement with TV production company FremantleMedia, to develop games based on the TV game show "The Price is Right" for all major gaming platforms. Montreal-based Ludia said its first title will debut on several major downloadable PC game sites in December.
