Last.fm Adds Lyrics to Over 800,000 Songs via LyricFind

London - Last.fm, the social music discovery service owned by CBS (NYSE: CBS), announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with LyricFind to add the lyrics to over 800,000 songs to the free site. LyricFind has licensing deals with nearly 2,000 music publishers, including Warner/Chappell, Sony/ATV and EMI Music Publishing.

RealNetworks Adds Searchable Lyrics to Rhapsody Music Service

Seattle - RealNetworks announced on Monday that it has struck a deal with LyricFind to offer searchable lyrics on Rhapsody Online, the Web-based version of the company's digital music service.

All Media Guide Teams With LyricFind to Add Lyrics to Music Database

Ann Arbor, Mich. - All Media Guide, a provider of informational databases on music, movies and games, announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with LyricFind to offer lyric search and display capabilities. LyricFind has licensed lyrics from over 1,700 publishers, which will be available to retailers and device manufacturers using All Media Guide's database. The deal also enables AMG to resell LyricFind services to its customers, while LyricFind may provide basic AMG data to its clients.

Harry Fox Agency Licenses LyricFind to Post Song Lyrics Online

New York - The Harry Fox Agency (HFA), a U.S. music rights licensing organization, announced that it has signed a lyrics licensing agreement with LyricFind, a website that publishes song lyrics. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Under the terms, music publishers can participate on an opt-in basis and will be able to add, review and edit lyrics on LyricFind's database. HFA said the service will be offered to publishers on a commission-free basis, waiving its usual 6.75% cut of royalties.
