Jaman.com Adds Movies from First Look, Magnolia

San Mateo, Calif. - Web movie download and streaming service Jaman.com on Tuesday announced new deals to offer films from First Look Studios and Magnolia Pictures on its site. New additions include "Enron: The Smartest Guys in the Room," "Capturing the Friedmans," "Mayor of the Sunset Strip" and "Antonia's Line."

I've grown to love Bill OReilly. Seriously. If there is anyone who can publicize a political movie, its Bill and I truly appreciate that about him. Magnolia Pictures and HDNet Films' Redacted premiered last week as part of HDNet's Ultra VOD program. With HDNet Ultra VOD movies premiere first in Hotels and on cable and satellite VOD systems PRIOR to making their national theatrical premieres. HDNet Movies will also show a sneak preview on Nov 14th, 2 days before the Nov 16th theatrical release.

Austin, Texas - Magnolia Pictures, the film distribution company co-owned by Dallas Mavericks owner and dot-com billionaire Mark Cuban, has filed for a subpoena that asks Google how it can obtain the identity of a YouTube user who has uploaded potentially infringing clips of its films to the site, CNET News.com reported.

Denver - On Command, a provider of in-room interactive entertainment to hotels, announced on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement with Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner's Magnolia Pictures, to add high-definition movies to its guest room video-on-demand service.

Sioux Falls, S.D. - LodgeNet, a provider of broadband and in-room interactive entertainment services to hotels, announced on Friday a partnership with Mark Cuban and Todd Wagner's Magnolia Pictures, to allow guests to purchase promotional-price DVD movie titles through their hotel TV for delivery to a home address.
