Edison, N.J. - Video game publisher Majesco Entertainment announced on Tuesday that it has regained compliance with the Nasdaq's stockholders' equity requirements for continued listing on the exchange. The New Jersey-based company had fallen out of compliance with the exchange's requirement that it have a minimum of $2.5 million in stockholders' equity. Like most other publishers, Majesco experienced weak sales in the latter part of 2005, and in response shifted its business model away from capital-intensive premium console game titles in favor of value products and lower-cost games for handheld systems.
