Rockstar Games to Ship "Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix" in March

San Diego - Rockstar Games, a unit of video game publisher Take-Two Interactive, announced on Friday that it plans to ship "Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix" for PlayStation 2 and Xbox in March. Developed by Rockstar San Diego, the title features new vehicles, terrain and music, and will sell for the discounted price of $19.99 as part of the PlayStation 2 Greatest Hits and Xbox Platinum Hits programs.

Atari to Ship First PSP Title, "Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai," in March

New York - Atari said on Friday its first title for Sony's PSP handheld will be "Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai." Developed by Japan-based Dimps, the title is slated for release in March.

Atari to Ship "Kao the Kangaroo" Sequels in March

New York - Atari said on Wednesday that in March it will release "Kao the Kangaroo Round 2" for PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and the PC, and "Kao Challengers" for the PSP. The sequels in the Kao franchise were developed by Poland-based Tate Interactive.

Sony Plans March Launch for PSP Handheld Game in U.S., Europe

Las Vegas -- Sony Computer Entertainment president and CEO Ken Kutaragi said on Wednesday that the company plans to launch its new PSP (PlayStation Portable) handheld video game system in the U.S. and Europe in March, Reuters reported. The device launched in Japan on Dec. 12, where Sony shipped 510,000 units of the $190 device. Sony plans to ship 3 million PSP units worldwide by March 31. Rival Nintendo has seen strong sales of its new handheld, the DS, which has already sold 1.3 million units in the U.S. and Japan, and will see 5 million units shipped to worldwide retailers by March 31.
