New York - Sundance Channel announced on Thursday plans to launch Sundance Channel Green, a weekly three-hour programming block that will present original series and documentaries "about the earth's ecology and concepts of 'green' living that balance human needs with responsible environmental stewardship." A corresponding "eco-mmunity" section on SundanceChannel.com will allow eco-minded viewers to interact. Sundance also plans to make the new programming available via video-on-demand, download-to-own and wireless platforms. Sundance Channel Green is slated to launch in early 2007.
