Los Angeles - Me.dium, a developer of a Web application that lets users see which friends are online and what sites and services they are using, on Tuesday launched RockMe, a five-day online music festival that will feature concert webcasts and new music debuts. Participating in the online event are artists including Rose Hill Drive, who will premiere a new video and provide a live concert webcast, in addition to the Fiery Furnaces, J. Mascis of Dinosaur Jr. and Todd Fancey of New Pornographers.

Boulder, Colo. - Me.dium, a developer of technology that connects users who visit the same websites, announced on Monday that it has raised $15 million in its second round of venture capital financing, led by Commonwealth Venture Partners.
