MGA Entertainment to Create DVD Games for "Jeopardy," "Wheel of Fortune"

Los Angeles - MGA Entertainment, a maker of toys, games, dolls and consumer electronics, announced on Tuesday a licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, for the rights to create DVD games based on the game shows "Jeopardy" and "Wheel of Fortune." MGA, which recently released a DVD game based on "The $100,000 Pyramid," will ship its "Jeopardy" DVD game in the spring of 2007, with the "Wheel of Fortune" title to follow in early 2008.

MGA, Ztar Mobile Launch "Bratz"-branded Mobile Phone

Los Angeles - MGA Entertainment, maker of the popular Bratz fashion dolls and accessories, on Thursday shipped its Bratz-branded mobile phone to Wal-Mart retail locations. The $69 white and pink Sony Ericsson T290 handsets feature Bratz imagery, and come loaded with Bratz wallpapers, voice ringtones and screen savers. The company partnered with Ztar Mobile to offer 50 minutes of pre-paid airtime, renewable through a Bratz Mobile private branded wireless service.
