Report: Arrington's CrunchPad to Ship in November for $400

Singapore - The CrunchPad, a tablet PC in the works from TechCrunch technology blog founder Michael Arrington, is expected to be released in November with a $400 price tag, according to a report in the Singapore Straits Times. TechCrunch partnered with Singapore-based Fusion Garage to develop the device, which reportedly has a 12-inch touchscreen and proprietary operating system, but no on-board storage space.

TechCrunch Founder to Reassess Career Following Incident

Atherton, Calif. - Michael Arrington, the founder and co-editor of TechCrunch, a popular blog focused on Internet products and companies, said on Wednesday that he plans to take off most of February to reassess his future following an incident on Tuesday in which someone deliberately spat in his face at an event in Germany. "In the past I've been grabbed, pulled, shoved and otherwise abused at events, but never spat on," wrote Arrington in a blog post.
