Stubbs, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Movie Gallery division, has been appointed President of Retail Operations for the Company, effective immediately. Nellymoser, a mobile media and service delivery platform provider, today announced its new CEO, Susanne Bowen. Most recently, Bowen was the Chairman and CEO of Webhire. Bowen has also held senior executive positions with Workscape, ENTEX Information Services and JWP Information Services. Bowen replaces John Puterbaugh who will remain actively involved in the company as Founder and Director. Los Angeles - Nellymoser, a provider of mobile media programming and delivery technology, announced on Monday a partnership with Muze, a provider of informational databases on music, movies, games and books. Under the deal, Nellymoser will distribute mobile versions of Muze's descriptive media data, in addition to the company's catalog of over 2 million licensed tracks, 5 million licensed streaming song samples and 40,000 movie trailers to wireless carriers operating mobile storefronts.

New York - Publisher Hachette Filipacchi Media announced on Monday the launch of new mobile sites for five of its brands: ELLE, Car and Driver, Premiere, ELLEgirl.com and Shock. The ad-supported free mobile content, including articles, photos, video clips and reviews, will be distributed by mobile firms Crisp Wireless and Nellymoser.

Arlington, Mass. -- Nellymoser, a provider of mobile music services and other mobile applications, announced on Monday that it has raised $5.3 million in a recent round of venture capital financing, led by Japan's Softbank Capital. The Massachusetts-based company offers a mobile media server and branded mobile content portals to customers including Warner Mobile Music, Mforma, Sony and Ericsson. Nellymoser will use the funds to accelerate development of its mobile media platform and applications, and to expand sales and marketing efforts.
