Microsoft Adds MTV, Sony BMG Content to MSN Video in Europe

Los Angeles - Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) has signed deals with Viacom's (NYSE: VIA) MTV Networks and major label Sony BMG (NYSE: SNE), to offer clips of TV shows and music videos on its free MSN Video service in Europe, Variety reports. The deal will bring clips of shows such as "South Park" and "Pimp My Ride," as well as music videos, to MSN Video sites in nine countries, including the U.K.

Newport, R.I. - Microsoft's MSN Video announced on Wednesday that it will webcast performances from the JVC Jazz Festival in Newport, R.I,. beginning on Sunday, Aug. 13.

IMG Media, MSN Video to Webcast L.A. Fashion Week

New York - IMG Media announced on Monday that it has partnered with MSN Video to provide on-demand coverage from Mercedes-Benz Fashi
on Week at Smashbox Studios in Los Angeles. Programming will include designer and lifestyle features, along with two-minute highlights of every designer's show, posted hours after completion.

IMG, MSN Video, Sprint to Provide Web, Mobile Coverage of Fashion Week

New York - IMG Worldwide, a sports, entertainment and media company, announced on Wednesday that it has partnered with Microsoft's MSN Video and Sprint to provide online and mobile TV coverage of the Fall 2006 Olympus Fashion Week in New York. IMG's site will provide live streaming of Bryant Park runway shows, while MSNVideo.com will offer on-demand highlights from all 67 shows. Sprint will offer subscribers with compatible handsets behind-the-scenes video and interviews streamed to their phones.
