Tuesday announced the release of "Rock Band" for Apple's iPhone and
iPod touch. The $9.99 game includes a full-band Bluetooth multiplayer mode, 20
full-length songs, and the ability to purchase additional songs from within the
game.

Monday to introduce the upcoming video game "The Beatles: Rock Band"
from Harmonix and MTV Games (NYSE: VIA). Set for release on Sept. 9, the game will include 45
Beatles tracks, and offer many others for download, including "All You
Need Is Love" -- proceeds from sales of which will go to Doctors Without

- Viacom's (NYSE: VIA) MTV Games announced on Tuesday that industry veterans Him Veevaert
and Jay Cohen have been named to head Jerry Bruckheimer Games, the studio joint
venture with movie producer Jerry Bruckheimer announced in December 2007. Veevaert
comes from Microsoft, where he oversaw Xbox 360 franchises like
"Halo" and "Gears of War," while Cohen spent the past
decade at Ubisoft, working to launch titles like "Prince of Persia"
and the Tom Clancy franchise.

teamed with casino operator Harrah's Entertainment to launch the Total Rewards
Rock Band Competition, which will see Harrah's casinos host weekly "Rock
