San Francisco - IBloks, a San Francisco-based start-up developing software for personalizing media and entertainment online, said on Tuesday that it has landed an unspecified amount of new funding from several high-profile angel investors. The investors include Michael Ostin, a former Warner Music and Dreamworks executive; Maverick Records founding partner Freddy DeMann; and Maurice Marciano, fashion designer and founder of GUESS? The company said that it will use the funds to complete development and begin marketing its first product, scheduled for release later this quarter. The software will allow users to share and mix digital content -- including music, photos, video and games -- online in an immersive 3D environment.
