San Jose, Calif. - Namco Networks, a unit of Japan's Namco, on Monday released the mobile game "Snoopy the Flying Ace," the first mobile title to be published under its license deal with United Media.

Namco Networks to Publish Big Fish Games' Casual Titles for Mobile

San Jose, Calif. - Japan's Namco Networks, a developer and publisher of mobile games, announced on Monday that it has signed an agreement to distribute casual online games publisher Big Fish Games' titles for mobile phones in North America. The first title under the deal, "Atlantis Sky Patrol," is set to launch on U.S. mobile networks in the winter of 2007.

Namco Networks to Publish KDDI's Japanese Mobile Games in U.S.

San Jose, Calif. - Japanese mobile game publisher Namco Networks said on Tuesday that it has signed an agreement to publish Japanese mobile carrier KDDI's large catalog of mobile game titles from Japanese publishers and developers in North America.

Namco Releases "Ms. PAC-MAN" Game for iPod on iTunes

San Jose, Calif. - Japanese mobile game publisher Namco Networks on Tuesday posted a version of "Ms. PAC-MAN" for sale on Apple's iTunes Store for play on the fifth generation iPod. The $4.99 iPod version of the game was released in part to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Ms. PAC-MAN." The company launched the original "PAC-MAN" for iPod on iTunes in September.

Namco Networks Incorporates Movie Clips Into "Scene It?" Mobile Game

San Jose, Calif. - Japanese mobile game developer Namco Networks on Thursday released "Scene It? Movie Edition," which it says is the first mobile game in North America to integrate video into gameplay. Based on the DVD trivia game that incorporates licensed movie clips, the mobile game includes more than 1,000 questions that feature text, audio and video. Sprint and Namco are currently offering a free demo of the game.
