Boston - Navic Networks, a developer of interactive TV technology for the cable TV industry, announced on Tuesday that it has signed a multi-year agreement with Cox, the nation's third-largest cable TV provider. Under the deal, Cox will deploy Boston-based Navic Networks' Addressable Advertising service in multiple markets. Navic's technology allows operators and their advertisers to target groups of subscribers using interactive enhancements on 30-second, 60-second and long-form ads. Subscribers use the remote control to vote on community issues, request more information, take advantage of special offers, and access long-form content.
