Saratoga, Calif. - Fantasy sports betting website NBX.com on Wednesday launched its latest game, College Bowl Perfect Picker, which will award $25,000 to anyone who correctly picks the winner of each college football bowl game. If multiple players pick every winning team, the prize will be shared equally among them.

Saratoga, Calif. - Online sports entertainment firm NBX on Tuesday announced the launch of its first $10,000 World Sports Betting Championship. The contest allows sports fans to create a fantasy sportsbook using real Las Vegas odds, and interact with one another on an online sports social network. The company said it will host similar tournaments during the postseason competitions of the NFL, NBA, MLB and college football and basketball.

Online Sports Entertainment Firm NBX Raises $3.3 Million

Saratoga, Calif. - NBX, an online sports entertainment company, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $3.3 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by MK Capital. Saratoga, Calif.-based NBX plans next month to launch its social networking service that implements a fantasy sportsbook, where members can create profiles and "wager" on real sporting events using Las Vegas odds and virtual currency. The company also offers a range of sports-related podcasts and blogs from personalities including the NFL's Kevin Gogan, James Washington and Gary Plummer, and comedian Jay Mohr. NBX was founded in September 2004, and reported 2 million show downloads in the second half of last year.
