Beverly Hills, Calif. - No Good TV, an online entertainment network that creates unscripted, celebrity-based entertainment programming, announced on Friday a deal with Mark Burnett Productions that covers multiple programming genres and media formats. The first project is a late night talk show hosted by No Good TV chief anchor Carrie Keagan; the companies will also collaborate on game shows, unscripted entertainment series, scripted comedies, movies and specials. Los Angeles - Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution (NYSE: TWX) will add segments from the online network No Good TV to its syndicated entertainment news show "Extra," TVWeek.com reports. No Good TV attracts an estimated average of 10 million views weekly across its own site, YouTube and mobile screens for its celebrity interviews. "To us there is a giant untapped audience that gets all their entertainment news online," "Extra" senior executive producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey told TVWeek.com. "We thought this was a perfect opportunity to bring young viewers in a way that none of the entertainment shows are doing." Beverly Hills, Calif. - The producers of No Good TV, an online celebrity and entertainment news network that lets users connect with celebrities, and claims more than 62 million views on YouTube, said on Wednesday that their format will soon be given a home on late-night television. Producer Robert Morton ("Late Show with David Letterman," "Mind of Mencia"), and Dave Becky and Michael Rotenberg from 3 Arts Entertainment and Endeavor, will pitch the show to networks in the next few weeks, Variety reported. The production partners said the show will continue to feature uncensored celebrity interviews, music, sketch comedy, CG animation and puppetry, and offer "a fun, relaxed and artist-friendly environment free from gossip, ambush interviews and paparazzi." Beverly Hills, Calif. - Online celebrity news and entertainment site No Good TV (NGTV) said on Tuesday it partnered with Microsoft on a promotion that will give celebrities the chance to challenge each other in the beta version of "Halo 3" for the Xbox 360, in advance of the game's release on Sept. 25. The in-studio face-offs will be broadcast on NGTV.com as well as on select Xbox sites later this summer. |
