OGPlanet Gets Funding for Imported Korean Online Games

El Segundo, Calif. - OGPlanet, a publisher of multiplayer online games, announced on Wednesday that it has received an undisclosed sum of new funding from DFJ Athena, which the company said will be used for continued growth.

Free Online Game Publisher OGPlanet Lands Investments

Los Angeles - OGPlanet, a publisher of free online multiplayer games that generate revenue through the sale of virtual items, announced on Monday that it has received an undisclosed sum of venture funding from a group of gaming and digital media executives. New investors in the company include former Disney Online president Richard Wolpert; GameSpy founder Mark Surfas; former RealArcade vice president Andrew Wright; and BellRock Media CEO Peter Levin.
