Penn State Launches Text-Message Campus News Service

Leesburg, Va. - Penn State University on Wednesday announced the launch of a new wireless campus news service. The school partnered with Omnilert on PSUTXT, which will send text-messages of news and emergency information to subscribers' mobile phones using Omnilert's e2Campus Web-based communication system.
