Sioux Falls, S.D. - LodgeNet (NASD: LNET), a provider of in-room VOD and interactive entertainment systems to hotels, announced on Tuesday that it has brought its business units together under the new name, LodgeNet Interactive Corp., and will no longer use the brand names of recent acquisitions On Command and StayOnline. LodgeNet provides its services in more than 1.9 million hotel rooms in 9,300 hotel properties worldwide.

The Instant Media Network service will expand On Command's hotel room music offering from 300-600 titles to more than 10,000 CDs and 120,000 tracks.

On Command alleged that NXTV was in possession of its customer database, and had been using it for years to target its customers as agreements came up for renewal. The lawsuit revealed this allegation to be true. Under the settlement, NXTV will pay On Command $950,000; it also imposes anti-solicitation restrictions on NXTV until 2011.

Denver - On Command, a provider of in-room interactive entertainment to hotels, announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with DirecTV, to offer the satellite TV provider's NFL Sunday Ticket programming package in On Command hotel rooms. The service lets viewers choose to view any live Sunday NFL game, subject to normal market blackouts. Denver-based On Command also offers ESPN's GamePlan college football and Full Court college basketball games services.

Denver -- On Command, a provider of in-room entertainment technologies like video-on-demand to the hotel and cruise ship industries, announced on Thursday that media giant Liberty Media has expressed interest in buying all outstanding shares in the company. Under the proposed deal, On Command stockholders would receive 0.0787 of a share of Liberty Media stock for each share of On Command they own. Denver-based On Command said it has established a committee of independent directors to consider the proposal, and will engage independent legal counsel and financial advisors.

Hotel VOD Provider On Command Delisted from Nasdaq

Denver -- On Command, a provider of in-room high-speed Internet, video-on-demand and other entertainment services to the hotel and cruise ship industries, announced on Wednesday that its shares will be delisted from the Nasdaq National Market effective tomorrow. Denver-based On Command's shares -- which have traded below the Nasdaq's $1 minimum since November -- will now be listed on the OTC Bulletin Board. "Given the financial stability the company achieved during 2002, we are disappointed that we will no longer be trading on the Nasdaq National Market," said On Command president and CEO Chris Sophinos.
