One True Media to Power User-Generated Videos for NBC's "iVillage Live"

Redwood City, Calif. - User-generated media firm One True Media announced on Tuesday that it will power viewer video creation and submission for "iVillage Live," a new NBC Universal daytime talk show that will air online and on NBC and Bravo. The show will feature live chat, daily polls and comments, and video submissions from the viewing audience.

TiVo Expands Lineup of Web Downloads to TV Set-tops

Alviso, Calif. - TiVo on Tuesday announced plans to expand its service that allows subscribers to download Internet video to their TiVo set-tops for viewing on television. The software upgrade allowing user-generated and other non-copyright protected videos to be downloaded to TiVo boxes will be offered by the end of the year.

Pump Audio to Provide Free Soundtracks for One True Media Users

Redwood City, Calif. - One True Media, an online service that turns video and photos into "online video stories," announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Pump Audio, a provider of licensed independent music for commercial productions.

Video-Sharing Site One True Media Raises $5 Million

Redwood City, Calif. - One True Media, a developer of an online video-sharing community, announced on Monday that it has raised $5 million in its first round of venture capital financing from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers. Since launching in December 2005, the company has registered 335,000 members, who can upload, edit, add music and share their personal videos.
