Online Photo SiteHP's Snapfish to Host Online Photo Site for WalgreensAuthored by Mark Hefflinger on July 12, 2005 - 10:28am.
Palo Alto, Calif. -- Hewlett-Packard said that its recently acquired Snapfish online photo service has been selected to host Walgreens' new online photo website. The new site allows Walgreens customers to use Snapfish's tools for online photo ordering, sharing and storage. Walgreens also is rolling out on a market-by-market basis the ability for customers to upload photos to the site and pick up prints at the Walgreens store of their choice in as little as one hour. The service will be available in all markets where Walgreens operates by September. Customers can also opt for mail delivery of prints made from their uploaded photos. HP completed its acquisition of San Francisco-based Snapfish in April.
