Paramount to Distribute Movies on Kingston Flash Drives

Fountain Valley, Calif. - Kingston Digital, a maker of flash memory-based products, said on Monday that it has partnered with Viacom's Paramount Digital Entertainment to deliver full-length movies on Kingston USB flash drives and SD cards.

Paramount, Mountain Dew Team on Interactive Web Thriller

Los Angeles - Viacom's (NYSE: VIA) Paramount Digital Entertainment announced on Wednesday that it has signed Mountain Dew (NYSE: PBG) to sponsor "Circle of 8," an original interactive thriller produced by Milchan/Van Eyssen. The series is billed as a "studio-quality episodic thriller that invites audiences to participate in the fate of its characters," with "numerous plots and engaging interactive elements will provide unprecedented opportunities for unique consumer experiences." It will debut exclusively on MySpace in October, before being redistributed as a full-length feature film showcasing choices made by audiences online.

MOD to Offer Warner, Paramount Video via Download Kiosks

Las Vegas - MOD Systems, a provider of digital media download kiosks to retailers, said on Thursday that it has signed agreements to distribute digital video content from Warner Brothers and Paramount Digital Entertainment via downloads to SD flash memory cards in retail stores. MOD already offers nearly 4,000 titles from studios including Anchor Bay and Image Entertainment, in addition to nearly 4 million music tracks for download from its kiosks.

Dell, Paramount Team to Pre-Load "Iron Man" on PCs

Round Rock, Texas - PC maker Dell (NASD: DELL) on Tuesday announced a deal with Paramount Digital Entertainment (NYSE: VIA) that will see a copy of the movie "Iron Man" pre-installed as an option on newly purchased computers. For an extra $20, consumers can order a special digital edition of "Iron Man" with a bonus featurette that will come pre-loaded on select Inspiron, Dell Studio and XPS laptops and desktops.

Paramount, Accedo to Offer Movie-Themed Games in Asia

Los Angeles - Viacom's (NYSE: VIA) Paramount Digital Entertainment unit has partnered with Sweden-based Accedo Broadband to offer a range of movie-themed video games on Asian telco TV and IPTV services, Variety reports. The deal includes games based on "Top Gun" and "Saturday Night Fever."

Artificial Life to Create Mobile Games for Paramount Films

Hong Kong - Mobile games developer Artificial Life said this week that it has signed a licensing deal with Viacom's (NYSE: VIA) Paramount Digital Entertainment, to create mobile games based on the studio's "Braveheart" and "Shooter." The games are slated for global release in early 2008.
