ROO Group to Acquire P2P Service Wurld Media for $10 Million

New York - ROO Group, a provider of online video distribution services, announced on Tuesday that it will acquire the assets of Wurld Media, a legitimate peer-to-peer media distribution service, for up to $10 million.

Peer Impact Adds Fox, Warner Bros. Titles to P2P Download Service

Saratoga Springs, N.Y. - Wurld Media, the developer of the Peer Impact licensed peer-to-peer media download service, announced on Thursday that it has signed agreements to add select movie and TV titles from Twentieth Century Fox and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
