San Francisco - Veteran rocker Neil Young has come out in
favor of his label Reprise Records' (part of Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG)) deleting his
music videos from YouTube (NASD: GOOG) or muting the sound on other videos, Wired.com reported.

London - Unsatisfied with the sound quality of MP3 and other current digital audio formats, veteran rocker Neil Young has been talking with record companies on "licensing an alternative digital platform that he had been working on -- something, he claimed, of far higher quality that could provide an alternative to the download world and perhaps even a new business model for music," the Financial Times reported. San Francisco - Neil Young said on Tuesday that he will release his entire repertoire on Sony's (NYSE: SNE) Blu-ray Disc format, the Associated Press reported. The veteran rocker announced the plans at a conference for Sun Microsystems, whose Java platform powers the interactive features on Blu-ray discs. The first 10-disc set, covering 1963-1972 and set for release in the fall, will include songs, videos, handwritten manuscripts and other content that users will be able to download directly to the discs over the Internet as it become available. Incline Village, Nev. - Neil Young has made his forthcoming album "Living With War" available as a CD-quality digital download in advance of the album's release in stores. The album will be available in Windows Media Audio Lossless format from MusicGiants, an online store that offers HD music downloads.
