Groove Mobile Names Eric Giler Chairman and CEO

Andover, Mass. - Groove Mobile, a provider of branded mobile music download services for wireless carriers, announced on Wednesday that it has named Eric Giler as chairman and chief executive officer. Previously, Giler founded and was president and CEO of Brooktrout, a supplier of advanced hardware and software that he sold in 2005. Massachusetts-based Groove Mobile, which recently raised $8.5 million in venture capital, counts Sprint and wireless carriers in Canada, the U.K., Europe and Asia among its customers.
