Indie Music Site Pitchfork Brings Video Content to IFC

Chicago - Indie music site Pitchfork announced on Monday that it has partnered with the Independent Film Channel on a new TV series that will feature content from the company's recently launched Web TV channel, Pitchfork.tv. Debuting on Aug. 24, "Pitchfork Airwaves on IFC" will be comprised of 10 shorts each week, and offer a mix of live performances, interviews and other video content from Pitchfork.tv shows like "Daytripping," "Don't Look Down" and "Juan's Basement."

Indie Music Site Pitchfork to Launch Web Video Channel

Chicago - Pitchfork Media, a Chicago-based site that offers independent music news, reviews and other content, announced on Tuesday that it plans to launch a Web-based music video channel next month that will offer "mini-documentaries, secret rooftop and basement sessions, full concerts, exclusive interviews, and the most carefully curated selection of music videos online." "The 24-hour music network was such a great concept. What happened?," reads the Pitchfork.tv announcement.
