Delve Networks Introduces Internet TV Publishing Platform

Seattle - Delve Networks, formerly known as Pluggd, on Wednesday announced the launch of its Internet TV and online video publishing platform for medium to large-sized publishers. The platform, which will compete with offerings from Brightcove, Maven and others, includes a feature that lets users navigate within a hosted video file to find the exact content they want. Seattle-based Delve is backed by DFJ Frontier, Intel Capital and Labrador Ventures.

Multimedia Search Firm Pluggd Lands $6 Million

Seattle - Pluggd, a provider of video and audio search technology, announced on Thursday that it has raised $6 million in its first round of venture capital financing, led by Intel Capital.

DreamWorks Animation SKG today announced that Lewis Coleman, the company's President, has been elected to DreamWorks Animation's Board of Directors, effective immediately. Before being named President of DreamWorks Animation last December, Coleman had served on the Board of Directors and as Chairman of its Audit Committee. From 1995 to 2000, Coleman was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banc of America Securities L.L.C., a subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation in San Francisco.
