Electronic Arts Debuts U.K., German-Language Pogo Casual Games Sites

Geneva - Electronic Arts announced on Thursday that it is expanding its Pogo.com casual games property into Europe, with the launch of U.K. and German-language sites. Pogo will offer players in the U.K. and German-speaking countries including Germany, Austria and Switzerland single and multiplayer online puzzle, word, casino, classic card and board games.

EA to Add "Boom Boom Rocket" to Downloadable Xbox Games Service

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts on Wednesday detailed plans for "Boom Boom Rocket," its first title for Microsoft's Xbox Live Arcade digital game distribution service for the Xbox 360. Set to debut on Xbox Live Arcade in the spring of 2007, the rhythm action game was conceived by EA's Pogo.com casual games team and developed by Bizarre Creations.

DTI Software Adds Electronic Arts Games to In-Flight Entertainment

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced this week that it has partnered with DTI Software, a provider of in-flight entertainment, to offer "The Sims 2" and titles from its Pogo.com casual games site for play by air travelers. Montreal-based DTI claims 62 airline customers for its in-flight entertainment software.
