Wash. - Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) announced on
Monday that it has sold its Razorfish digital marketing agency to France's
Publicis Groupe, in a deal valued at $530 million. Founded in 1995 as Avenue A,
the Seattle-based company raised $48 million in an IPO in 1999, and went through a series of acquisitions before being purchased by Microsoft in 2007.

- Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) has hired Morgan Stanley to help it sell off Razorfish, the digital
ad agency it acquired as part of a $6 billion deal back in 2007, the Financial
Times reported.

that it has agreed to well its Performics search marketing business France's
Publicis Groupe.
