TiVo, Quantcast Partner on TV-Internet Ratings Service

New York - TiVo (NASD: TIVO) announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Web audience measurement firm Quantcast to offer advertisers and media firms an analysis service that cuts across DVR and Internet usage. The Tivo/Quantcast sample of 35,000 households will include TiVo's own ratings panel with Quantcast's direct measurement offering to track the effectiveness of advertising, media consumption and programming affinity.

Reports: Twitter Growth Flat; Majority Have Never Tweeted

San Francisco - Traffic to microblogging service Twitter, which had rocketed in recent months with promotional plugs from Oprah and Ashton Kutcher, has flatlined, or even declined, according to reports citing data from measurement firms Compete and Quantcast. According to Compete, Traffic to Twitter rose just 1.47% from April to May, to 19.7 million unique monthly visitors; traffic to the site grew 752% in 2008.

San Francisco - Quantcast, a provider of open Internet ratings for websites, widgets and videos, has raised $20 million in its second round of funding, led by Founders Fund and Polaris Venture Partners.
