Oversi, RawFlow Team on P2P-Powered Internet TV Delivery

Petach Tikva, Israel - Oversi, a provider of peer-to-peer caching and content delivery services, said on Monday that it has partnered with RawFlow, a provider of live peer-to-peer streaming technologies. "The integration of Oversi's caching and RawFlow's ICD (Intelligent Content Distribution) can act as a booster in the network when there is not enough upstream capacity. In simple terms, you could say that the P2P powered caches work as turbo chargers for Internet TV delivery," said RawFlow CEO Mikkel Dissing.

Monster Worldwide Inc., parent of the popular jobs website Monster.com, said on Monday that its founder, Andrew McKelvey, has resigned from its board of directors after refusing to be interviewed for the company's internal stock option investigation. McKelvey also stepped down as Monster's chairman emeritus, a position he assumed after giving up the Chief Executive and Chairman jobs earlier this.

London -- Rawflow, a London-based developer of peer-to-peer streaming media technology, announced on Wednesday that it has received a $4 million investment from Benchmark Capital. Founded in 2000, Rawflow developed Intelligent Content Distribution (ICD) technology that distributes a live broadcast to users' computers connected through a peer-to-peer network; the system is being used by customers including the Danish Broadcasting Corporation. The company will use the funds for marketing and sales efforts for its ICD technology.
