Rehearsals.com to Provide Online Video, Voting for NBC's "StarTomorrow"

Burbank, Calif. - CenterStaging, a developer of digital video and music entertainment content, announced on Monday that its Rehearsals.com will provide high-definition digital production for NBC's new "battle of the bands" reality series, "StarTomorrow." The company will provide weekly streaming broadcasts of the series, as well as the ability for viewers to vote for their favorite group, which will win a development and distribution deal with Warner Music Group.

Entertainment Tonight's Mark Steines Signed to Host AOL "Gold Rush"

Los Angeles - AOL announced on Monday that it has signed a deal with Entertainment Tonight co-anchor Mark Steines to host "Gold Rush," an online interactive reality series created by Mark Burnett Productions and AOL. Launching in September, the seven-week game will challenge players to solve clues online, on CBS and in magazines to find over $2 million in gold hidden across the U.S.

Behind the program are the two popular comedians Matt Lucas and David Walliams.

Endemol Game ShowDutch and Swedish Television Companies Endemol and MTG, respectively, had very strong second quarters. Endemol stated that management "remain very confident about the full year results" and MTG stated that the company is "firmly on track to deliver our five year strategic objectives, and have enabled us to generate a 26% return on average capital employed over the past twelve months. "

The PR-machine known as Paris Hilton just released the reggae influenced single “Stars are Blind”. It remains to be seen if it will fly off the shelves as fast as her X-rated home video. Another reality TV star skilled in the art of PR who just released a single is newly divorced Jessica Simpson. The single is called “A Public Affair” and sounds like early Madonna pop. For good or bad, expect to hear more from these ladies in the future.

San Jose, Calif. - Emdigo, a provider of mobile 3D content and production technology, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired the exclusive rights to develop 3D graphics-based animation based on "Supergirl," China's version of the "American Idol" reality TV show.
