Radiohead, McCartney to Play the Grammys

Santa Monica, Calif. - The Recording Academy, producer of the annual Grammy Awards, announced on Monday that Radiohead and Paul McCartney will be among the artists performing live at this year's ceremony on Sunday, Feb. 8. The event will mark Radiohead's first live U.S. television performance since 2000.

Recording Artists' Coalition, Recording Academy Team to Lobby

Washington - The Recording Artists' Coalition (RAC), an eight-year-old lobbying group founded to advocate for musicians' rights, announced on Wednesday that it will merge its efforts with the advocacy arm of the Recording Academy, the organization that produces the annual Grammy Awards.

New York - The Recording Academy on Wednesday introduced its "What's the Download Music Survival Guide," part of a public education campaign that offers "constructive solutions to tackle illegal downloading."
