P2P Firm LimeWire Signs Digital Distribution Deal with Redeye

New York - LimeWire, the company behind the peer-to-peer file-sharing software that runs on the Gnutella network, announced that it has signed a deal with independent music distributor Redeye Distribution, to add 20,000 tracks from over 200 labels to the LimeWire Store. Other LimeWire Store content partners include Ingrooves, Nettwerk Productions and IRIS Distribution.

Groove Mobile Licenses Redeye Distribution Tracks

New York - Groove Mobile, a provider of mobile music services, said on Wednesday that it has signed a licensing deal with Redeye Distribution, which will bring music from labels including Yep Roc, Arena Rock, Purple Feather, PR Records, TKO Records, Rainbow and Quartz to the services it operates. Massachusetts-based Groove Mobile powers mobile music services for carriers including Sprint, Bell Canada, Vodafone and 3 UK.

Pump Audio to License Redeye Distribution Tracks for Commercial Use

Hudson Valley, N.Y. - Pump Audio on Monday announced a partnership with Redeye Distribution, and will make music from independent labels and artists distributed by Redeye available for licensing for commercial productions through its service. New York-based Pump Audio operates a website where producers of television and advertising can browse and license tracks for use in their productions.
