Mill Valley, Calif. - Sparkplay Media, a developer of browser-based 3D multiplayer games, announced that it has raised $4.25 million in new financing, from Redpoint Ventures and Prism Ventureworks.

New York - Rebel Monkey, a developer and publisher of casual and community online games, said on Monday that it has raised $1 million in a first round of financing from Redpoint Ventures.

Burlingame, Calif. - Mig33, the developer of a mobile social network with 9 million users, announced on Tuesday that it has raised a $13.5 million second round of financing, led by DCM.

Palo Alto, Calif. - Vuze, a distributor of video content using BitTorrent peer-to-peer technology, announced that it has raised $20 million in its third round of funding, led by New Enterprise Associates.

New York - Rebel Monkey, a developer of casual games, has received $225,000 of a $1 million first round of financing from Redpoint Ventures, PEHub.com reported, citing a regulatory filing.

Redwood City, Calif. - Obopay, a provider of mobile payments services, said on Thursday that it has raised $29 million in its third round of funding, led by Richmond Global Cellular.

Mountain View, Calif. - TheFind.com, a developer of a shopping search engine for lifestyle goods, said on Thursday that it has secured $15 million in its third round of funding, led by Bain Capital Ventures.

San Mateo, Calif. - Adap.tv, a provider of online video advertising technology, announced on Thursday that it has raised $10 million in its first round of funding, from new investor Redpoint Ventures and existing backer Gemini Israel Funds.

Founded in 2006, San Mateo, Calif.-based Adap.tv analyzes the video, audio and metadata in online video to serve contextually relevant ads.

The company will use the funds to expand its product offerings, broaden recruitment efforts and grow its operations.

San Francisco - Scribd, a site that allows users to upload and share documents of all kinds, has received a $3.5 million investment from Redpoint Ventures, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
