Twitter Teams With Reveille, Brillstein on Reality TV Series

San Francisco - Microblogging service Twitter has partnered with production companies Reveille and Brillstein Entertainment to develop a reality TV series that will "put ordinary people on the trail of celebrities in a revolutionary competitive format," Variety reported.

Los Angeles - Television production studio Reveille is launching a 50-episode Web series, "The Guy's Manual," featuring ESPN's Kenny Mayne, TVWeek.com reports. The series, which will offer men two-minute clips of advice on dating and other topics, will be sponsored by Post Grape Nuts cereal and distributed on Microsoft's MSN.com

Ben Silverman To Co-Chair NBC Universal's Entertainment Division, Digital Programming

Burbank, CA - NBC Universal shook up its entertainment operations today when it was announced that mega television producer Ben Silverman has been hired as a co-chairman of both its entertainment division and its television studio, which includes supervising the entertainment division’s digital programming.

Microsoft Signs Volvo, Chivas to Sponsor Reveille Webisode Series

Seattle - Microsoft has signed advertising deals with Volvo and Chivas Brothers, which will support two webisode series from TV production company Reveille ("The Office," "Ugly Betty"), the Associated Press reported. Financial and product placement details of the arrangements were not disclosed. Volvo will sponsor a series called "Driving School," while Chivas Regal will be involved with a travel and adventure series, "This is the Life," both of which are slated to premiere on MSN Video in the next six months.

Reveille to Offer "Ugly Betty," "The Office" on Akimbo VOD Service

San Mateo, Calif. - Independent TV production company Reveille ("The Office," "Ugly Betty") announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Akimbo to make its series available for download and viewing through the Akimbo IPTV video-on-demand service. The Akimbo service offers 14,000 movie and TV titles delivered through a $99, Internet-connected TV set-top box.
