Roll Call to Buy Rival Congressional Quarterly

Washington - More than a month after reports first surfaced about the deal, Roll Call Group on Tuesday confirmed that it will acquire fellow Washington-based political media firm Congressional Quarterly (CQ) from owner Times Publishing Co.

Publisher Roll Call Group Acquires Capital Advantage

Washington - Roll Call Group, the publisher of Congressional newspaper Roll Call, said that it has paid $43 million to acquire Capitol Advantage, a developer of online and offline grassroots and advocacy tools.
