RoyaltyShare Expands Service to Mobile Content Distributors

San Diego - RoyaltyShare, a provider of a Web-based royalty processing and reporting service for the entertainment industry, said on Wednesday that it has signed deals with mobile service providers LiveWire Mobile, Moderati, SendMe Mobile, Thumbplay and Zed. Under the terms, record labels and music distributors using RoyaltyShare will be able to sell full-track downloads, ringtones and other content through U.S. wireless carriers.

New York - Ad-supported music service SpiralFrog said on Monday that it has signed a licensing deal with RoyaltyShare, a provider of royalty collection and distribution services. Under the terms, RoyaltyShare customers will be offered the ability to deliver tracks directly to SpiralFrog's service.

Beggars Group Taps RoyaltyShare for Digital Royalty Services

The service charges no upfront or set-up fees to clients, who are billed 1.5% of all royalty revenues from sales of content on services like iTunes, Rhapsody and eMusic processed by the company. San Diego-based RoyaltyShare said that KOCH Entertainment Distribution is among its initial clients.
