SanDisk Introduces Sansa Clip+ MP3 Player

Milpitas, Calif. - SanDisk (NASD: SNDK), a maker of flash memory cards and MP3 players, on Monday introduced the Sansa Clip+ MP3 player, a smaller version intended to compete with Apple's iPod shuffle. The device comes in 2GB ($39), 4GB ($49) and 8GB ($69) capacities, and features a microSD expansion slot. It also supports SanDisk's slotRadio format.

Milpitas, Calif. - SanDisk, a maker of memory storage media and MP3 players, on Monday introduced the Sansa Clip, a tiny, wearable MP3 player intended to compete in the same category as Apple's second-generation iPod shuffle. The player features a tiny screen, and is available in several colors. A 1GB model will retail for $39 while a 2GB version will cost $59 when the Sansa Clip begins shipping in September in North America and Europe.
