Las Vegas - SanDisk (NASD: SNDK), a maker
of storage media and MP3 players, on Wednesday introduced its Sansa slotRadio
player and accompanying line of slotRadio format music cards at the Consumer
Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Designed for the casual music consumer, the $99 player comes with a slotRadio
card pre-loaded with 1,000 songs from a range of genres, picked from a variety
of playlists from Billboard's charts. Separately, the company announced a new
"Rock Band 2" music game-branded 2GB SD card, designed for use with
the Nintendo Wii, which will sell for $12.99.
