Screenvision Releases First 3D Cinema Ad

New York - Cinema advertising firm Screenvision announced on Friday that it has partnered with the Wrigley brand to produce the first 3D cinema ad, which will debut in theaters today. The 3D Skittles candies ad will run across the country for five weeks on 762 3D screens in over 400 theaters.

Verizon, Screenvision Team on Interactive Text Polls in Cinemas

Basking Ridge, N.J. - Verizon Wireless (NYSE: VZ) announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Screenvision to test a new text messaging promotion that will interact with moviegoers in theaters before the show begins. Scheduled to debut this month in 10 U.S. markets, the program will poll moviegoers on their music preferences and ask them to text their responses, with audience results then displayed on the movie screen. Screenvision's cinema advertising network currently reaches 14,000 screens across 2,300 U.S. theaters.

Screenvision to Serve Pre-Movie Digital Ads in Carmike Cinemas

New York - Screenvision, a provider of movie theater advertising services, announced on Tuesday an agreement with movie exhibitor Carmike Cinemas, which operates 292 theaters in 37 states. Under the deal, Screenvision will display its high-definition digital advertising pre-show on Carmike screens equipped with 2K digital cinema projectors. New York-based Screenvision said the Carmike agreement boosts to nearly 6,000 the total number of digital screens that feature its pre-show.
