San Diego - Slacker, the developer of a desktop streaming music player and Wi-Fi-enabled portable music player device, has raised $5 million in new bridge financing, VentureWire reported, citing a regulatory filing.

Campbell, Calif. - YouSendIt, a provider of digital content delivery services for business and personal uses, announced on Tuesday that it has raised a $14 million third round of venture capital financing, led by new investor Emergence Capital.

Report: Stealth Firm Broadband Instruments Developing Digital Music Tech

San Francisco - Wired News reported on Thursday that a stealth-mode company called Broadband Instruments, founded by former executives at Musicmatch, iRiver and Rio, is developing unspecified digital music technology that may include a consumer device and wireless functionality.
