Flash-based Shockwave.com Mobile Games Debut on Verizon Wireless

San Francisco - Viacom's Shockwave.com, a site that features Flash-based online games, on Wednesday announced a new series of mobile games built using Flash Lite, a Flash-based mobile media platform developed by Adobe. Access to the 30 Shockwave Minis games will be available exclusively to Verizon Wireless customers for $3.49 per month.

Shockwave.com Launches Mobile Games Store

San Francisco - Atom Entertainment, a recent acquisition of Viacom's MTV, announced on Wednesday the launch of a mobile games store on its Shockwave.com site. The store will offer mobile game titles from publishers including Glu Mobile, Hands-On Mobile, I-play and RealNetworks, with pricing starting at $3.99 per game. San Francisco-based Atom said the store will be powered by Navio's e-commerce service.

Atom Entertainment Launches Shockwave.com Game Studios

San Francisco - Atom Entertainment, a provider of short films, games and other online content, announced on Monday the launch of Shockwave.com Game Studios, a new unit that will work with advertisers and independent game developers to create new online games and advergames. The company also announced the launch of Shockwave.com Unlimited, a $4.95 per month, ad-free subscription version of its online games portal, which features over 300 titles.
