Electronic Arts Signs Reggie Bush for Cover of "NCAA Football 07"

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced on Friday that it has signed USC running back and 2005 Heisman Trophy winner Reggie Bush to be the cover athlete for its "NCAA Football 07". The game is in development at Florida-based EA Tiburon for release in July for PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, Xbox and PSP.

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts said on Tuesday that Pittsburgh Steelers coach Bill Cowher will be on the cover of its new game, "NFL Head Coach". Available in stores June 20 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC, the 3D sports strategy game will challenge players to build and manage every aspect of a football team from the ground up.

XM Satellite Radio Signs $55 Million Deal with Oprah Winfrey

Washington - XM Satellite Radio, a provider of subscription radio programming with 6 million subscribes, announced on Thursday that it signed a three-year, $55 million deal with Oprah Winfrey to launch a new channel on the service. The new channel, to be called "Oprah & Friends," will debut in September, and will feature a range of original programming from Winfrey's Harpo Radio. The lineup will include regular segments hosted by personalities from "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and The Oprah Magazine, as well as a weekly reality radio show with Winfrey and Gayle King. The channel will be broadcast from a new XM studio at Harpo Studios in Chicago. Some analysts see the move as XM's answer to a deal that rival Sirius struck with shock jock Howard Stern.

Square Enix Signs Hollywood Actors to Lend Voices to "Kingdom Hearts II"

Los Angeles - Japanese video game publisher Square Enix said on Thursday that it has signed actors including Haley Joel Osment, Mena Suvari, James Woods, Zach Braff and Rachel Leigh Cook to provide voice talent for its "Kingdom Hearts II" title for PlayStation 2. The title incorporates Disney characters from properties including "The Lion King," "Tron," "The Little Mermaid" and "Chicken Little" into a game environment designed by Square Enix. The sequel in the series that has shipped over 7.5 million units worldwide is slated for release in North America on March 28.

Disney's Starwave Mobile Signs Five Mobile Content License Deals

North Hollywood, Calif. - Starwave Mobile, the mobile licensing and publishing unit of Walt Disney Internet Group, said on Tuesday that it has signed licensing agreements to distribute mobile entertainment based on five new properties. Starwave will offer mobile content from the upcoming Weinstein Company film "Alex Rider: Stormbreaker"; the AND 1 street basketball franchise; Mondo Media's "Happy Tree Friends"; horoscope provider AstroStyle; and Jada Toys' "Chub City" toy line.
